campfetti FAQ

How this Fort Collins camp comparison tool works, where the data comes from, and how to get in touch.

How are listings checked?

Listings are based on each camp’s own website and materials, and details are checked against that official source before they go live. Each session includes a “View official source” link so you can verify the details yourself. If something looks wrong, a correction is re-checked against the official source before the listing is updated. This site compares camps run by other providers. It does not operate those programs.

Where does “View official source” go?

It opens that camp’s own website or registration page. When a session or registration page is published, the link goes there; otherwise it goes to the provider’s site. The page is the camp’s, not this directory’s. Registration and payment happen with the camp, on their site.

Should I register through this site?

No. campfetti does not take registrations or payments. Use “View official source” on the listing to go to the camp’s own site and register there.

How do I find camps by age and cost?

Use the Age or Grade filters and the maximum-price filter near the top of the comparison table. Age is your child’s age; grade is the grade they are entering. A session appears only when its listed eligibility clearly includes your selection. Many camps state age or grade, not both, so try the filter that matches how the camp describes itself. Prices shown are a standard session price for comparison. On this site, many week-long sessions fall between $100 and $400, with shorter options lower and specialty or longer programs higher. Membership discounts, fees, and extended care are often only on the camp’s own site. Always confirm the current price there before registering.

How often are dates updated?

Camp details change often—prices, open spots, and dates especially. Listings are updated as information is checked and corrections come in, but they are always a starting point. Always confirm current dates on the camp’s own page before registering.

Where is the comparison table?

The home page is Thanksgiving Break 2026. Browse Camps (top right) lists All Camps, Thanksgiving Break 2026, Winter Break 2026–2027, Spring Break 2027, and Summer Camps 2027. If you know a camp we should include, email focosummercamps@gmail.com.

Who is campfetti for?

campfetti is made for parents and caregivers planning summer coverage in Fort Collins. It’s built as a practical planning tool that minimizes the number of tabs you need open at once to compare camp options.

Who runs campfetti?

campfetti is run by Molly, a Fort Collins mom, as a volunteer-maintained resource.

Is this an official city or school-district site?

No. campfetti is an independent, volunteer-maintained resource. It is not affiliated with the City of Fort Collins, Colorado State University, Poudre School District, or any camp provider listed on the site.

Is campfetti free to use?

Yes. The comparison table is free for parents.

No. Providers are not charged to appear in the results. campfetti is intentionally inclusive. We do not support pay-to-appear or paid ranking strategies.

Interested in sponsoring?

Which areas does campfetti cover?

The focus is Fort Collins and the nearby area. Location is shown on listings so you can see where a session runs; the filters are built around comparing sessions for local families, not searching by neighborhood.

Do you list camps outside Fort Collins?

The focus is Fort Collins and the nearby area. Some listings may be a short drive away when they’re useful for local families; the site is not meant as a statewide directory.

Are all Fort Collins summer camps listed?

Probably not, but we're trying to become more comprehensive. If you know a useful local camp that’s missing, suggest it by email.

How do I find camps for my child’s age or grade?

Use the Age or Grade filters near the top of the page. Age is your child’s age in the summer; grade is the grade they are entering. A session only appears when its listed eligibility clearly includes your selection. Many camps state age or grade (not both) so try the filter that matches how the camp describes itself. If both are set, a session can match on either.

Why don’t I see many results when I filter by grade?

Only a minority of sessions on the site state grade eligibility. Most camps describe ages instead. A narrow grade filter often returns few rows—that reflects the data, not a bug. Try the age filter if the grade filter looks empty.

How do I find camps for a specific week?

Set the date-range filters to the week (or weeks) you need coverage. The table keeps sessions that overlap those dates. You can also sort by date using the column headers.

What’s the difference between half-day, full-day, and overnight camps on this site?

The Day length filter groups sessions by scheduled hours: full-day means 6 or more hours; half-day means under 6 hours. Overnight is for camps listed as overnight or sleepaway. Exact drop-off and pickup times still come from the provider, so check the official source (and any notes on the listing) for the most accurate schedule. Extended care, if offered, is usually separate from the core day length.

Why are some camps cards instead of rows in the table?

The main table is for sessions with details you can compare, such as dates, ages, price, and hours. On summer, camps where session-specific details could not be verified are shown as simple cards with the program name, a short description, and a link to the official website. On Thanksgiving, winter, and spring, a program listing that already reads like a session stays in the main table. This site does not register you — confirm details on the provider’s site.

Can I see past (already finished) sessions?

On Summer, sessions that have already ended are hidden by default. The “Show past sessions” control appears only on Summer, and it resets when you switch seasons. It includes past sessions from that summer only, so finished 2026 summer sessions do not appear while you are looking at Summer 2027. Thanksgiving, winter, and spring do not use that control.

When do Fort Collins summer camps typically open registration?

It varies by provider. Many local camps open registration in late winter or early spring for the upcoming summer, and popular sessions can fill quickly. Some programs publish dates earlier or later. campfetti does not currently show registration-open dates in the main table; use each listing’s official source link for the current registration window.

How much do summer camps in Fort Collins usually cost?

Prices vary widely by provider, day length, and what’s included. On this site, many week-long sessions fall between $100 - $400, with some shorter or simpler options lower and specialty or longer programs higher. Prices shown here are meant as a standard session price for comparison; membership discounts, fees, and extended care are often noted separately or only on the provider’s site. Always confirm the current price before registering.

What should I do if a listing looks wrong?

Email a correction to focosummercamps@gmail.com (or use the “Email a correction” link in the footer). Include the provider/camp name, what needs fixing, and a source URL if you have one. Corrections are re-checked against the official source before the listing is updated.

How do I suggest a camp that’s missing?

Email focosummercamps@gmail.com (or use “Email a missing camp” in the footer) with the provider name, official website, and any details you know—ages, dates, price. Camps are added after the official source is verified.

Are you a camp provider interested in being listed or correcting information?

Yes—please reach out. If your camp is missing, email focosummercamps@gmail.com with your official website and the session details you’d like included. If something on an existing listing is wrong, email the same address with the correction and a link to your official source. Listings stay free; appearing here does not require payment. Details are verified against your official materials before they go live.
